Friendly Note on Sizing:
Our garments follow standard sizing. If you prefer a looser, more relaxed, or oversized fit, we strongly recommend ordering ONE SIZE UP.
Below is a clear outline of our policy for different situations. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
1. 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy (Non-Quality)
(Examples include, but are not limited to: items not fitting properly because you did not check the size guide; not following our "size up" recommendation; or feeling the item has a slight color variation from the link images when you did not request actual product photos prior to purchase.)
If you wish to initiate a return or exchange for reasons not related to product quality, the following terms apply:
- Timeframe & Condition: You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return (14 days for the European Union cooling-off period). Items must be in their original condition: unworn/unused, with tags attached, and in original packaging with proof of purchase.
- Fees & Deductions: The customer is responsible for the original shipping costs and return shipping costs (both ways for exchanges). Due to international cross-border logistics costs, manual re-inspection, and inventory depreciation, returns for non-quality reasons will be subject to deductions for basic handling, custom processing, and restocking fees from the final refund amount.
- The Process: You must contact us at service@takofits.com for a return label first. Items sent back without a prior request will not be accepted.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or with a visible defect, we will take full responsibility and offer a full refund or a free replacement.
- How to Apply: Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product defects and the shipping packaging.
- Expedited Fast-Track: To help us speed up the claim with our international shipping couriers, if you can provide a complete unboxing video (showing the unopened package and the entire opening process), your request will bypass the standard review process and be prioritized for resolution within 24 hours.
3. Our Shipping Mistakes
We will gladly issue a full refund (or arrange a free replacement) if we send you the wrong item due to our mistake. This includes:
- Wrong Size: The size you receive is different from the size listed on your original order confirmation (excludes size change requests made more than 24 hours after ordering).
- Wrong Color: The color you receive is different from the color on your order confirmation (excludes color change requests made more than 24 hours after ordering).
- Wrong Print/Design: The print or design on the item is completely different from what you ordered.
4. Order Cancellation Within 24 Hours
You can cancel your order for a full refund if you contact our customer service team within 24 hours of placing your order.
5. Change & Cancellation Requests After 24 Hours
If you request a change to your size/color or ask to cancel your order more than 24 hours after placing it, please understand that our fulfillment system has usually already handed the package over to our international logistics carriers.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we can modify or intercept the package and cannot promise a full refund. However, please contact us immediately, and we will do our absolute best to provide a fair, case-by-case solution based on the current shipping status.
6. Unconfirmed Specifications After 24 Hours
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, if we reach out to you regarding a size or color adjustment and do not receive a reply within 24 hours, we will proceed with shipping to avoid delivery delays. In these cases:
- Sizing Adjustments: Since our items follow standard sizing (and we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit), if we emailed you suggesting a different size based on your measurements and you did not reply within 24 hours, we will ship the size you originally selected.
- Missing Selections: If an order is missing a size or color selection and we receive no response to our confirmation emails within 24 hours, we will automatically process the shipment in the color shown in the main product image and in a standard size (typically size XL) to prevent your package from getting permanently stuck in our queue.
Note: If the item does not meet your expectations due to a lack of confirmation, we cannot offer a full refund, but we will always work with you to find a fair, case-by-case resolution.
7. Delivery & Address Confirmations
A timely response to our address verification emails is essential.
If our logistics team flags a shipping address issue and we do not receive a confirmation from you within 24 hours, any resulting shipping delays or returns may not be eligible for a full refund. Rest assured, if this happens, we will work closely with you to resolve the delivery on a case-by-case basis.
8. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Please note that certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom / Personalized Products: Any items made with special orders or unique personalizations.
- Final Sale Items & Gift Cards: Items purchased on clearance/sale or digital gift cards.
9. Refunds Processing Time
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved:
- You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
